Bhavan Cares established on 1 October 2007 caters to the benevolent needs of
the people from the Aboriginal communities, newly arrived migrant communities
and people in distress from the public of Australia.
The objects of the Bhavan Cares (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”) are
set out hereunder:

Providing direct relief and moral support to the people in distress due to
unemployment, family crisis, drug related problems, health reasons, social
adjustment problems, misfortune, disability or helplessness and other natural
or manmade crisis. Such direct relief will include but not limited to:

  • Provide assistance with accommodation for the homeless persons;
  • Provide assistance with home help for the aged and the infirm / disabled
    persons;
  • Provide transport to the sick, disabled or infirm and aged persons;
  • Rescue lost or stranded persons;
  • Provide assistance to those persons who are addicted to smoking and/or
    drugs in quitting and for their rehabilitation;
  • Assist in taking the school going and other young people off the street with
    a view to prevent them getting into social evils such as drugs, stealing, violence etc.

The objectives of Bhavan Cares are carried in practice by inviting people from
the public to register with it and approach it (Bhavan Cares) for any assistance
